used my Make the Cut software and Cricut to cut the image and made a white shadow layer to make it stand out... hubby loves it!

Birthday card for 99 year old
a card I did for a 99 year old...
I used the Cuttlebug Script texture embossing folder on the background and inked the white cardstock with Staz-on ink in Azure blue. The yellow paper has Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder for some added texture. The candles are the Cuttlebug Birthday Wishes embossing folder. I used three different colors of Stickles for the candles- Christmas Red, Orange Peel and Yellow. The metal sentiment is from Joanns.

Submarine vinyl, It's a Boy card and a Quilt!
Just a whole crafty kind of week this week with a few projects to show...
First up are the US Navy Submarine Dolphins that I made for my Dad who is a retired Navy captain...
found the graphic online and just imported it to Make the Cut and cleaned it up a bit. I think if I cut it again I will work on making it a little more solid- all those scales were a PAIN!
Love this card for its simplicity. I used a ready made card from Joann's and embossed it with my Swiss Dots CB folder. The wording is from a We R Memory Keepers "Foil Glitter Flock" baby boy set- I used the brown flock for the rub on. There are blue adhesive gems on the circle of words as well.
Last, but not least, is a quilt I made for my best friend with fabrics she sent me from Australia.
It is a small quilt but it is the first one I actually quilted myself on my regular Bernina sewing machine. It took me forever to do (sorry S!!!) but I am so glad it is done now! :)

Soldier card and Monogram card with gift card holder...
Soldier card- simple cuts of 2 x 3 1/2" and increasing by 1/4 " for each blue and red layers, then by a 1/2" for the yellow. A2 size- used a ready made white cardstock card for the base.
Cursive 101 cartridge for the letters and Ashlyn's Alphabet frame (Icon: J), yellow Stickles on the frame and Diamond Glaze on the top letter layers. First time I had used the Diamond Glaze- I think I like the shine and smoothness it gives...just a pain to get the air bubbles out! Not so sure about the frame and it's asymmetry- I like my symmetry, dang it! But I decided to let the bit of whimsy stay there...
This was a fairly large card for me- nearly 5 x 7.
Just a little gift card holder to go in the above card.

My car vinyl and 3 new cards!
The angle of this pic and the window makes it look like the wording is crooked, but it isn't! I really liked the process of finding the right font and graphic for this- let me know if you see me on the road! :)
made this one with K & Company stickers and that stamp again... lol, have I told you how much I like that stamp? used Martha's Double Loop Punch around the Page set for the border.
Sesame Street Font cartridge used on this one, I love this little guy!
Quick and simple card, just cut the papers to fit and used the Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder.

Birthdays
I love this stamp set! It is the dragonfly from Mindscapes by Inkadinkado clear stamps. I used Perfect Medium and silver embossing powder. Rhinestones along the edge of the ribbon add a little extra sparkle.
I used the Hero Arts G211 Large Happy Birthday rubber stamp in black ink. Stampin' Up Ticket corner punch on the corners of the green and yellow cardstock. Stamped dragonflies with Perfect Medium and used clear sparkle and light blue embossing powder (did each color seperately to avoid mixing colors).
Hero Arts birthday stamp again as well as Stampin' Up corner punch. I used Terrifically Tacky Tape to adhere the clear glass microbeads for the frame. Rhinestones in the corners.

Butterflies and Medallion card
Medallion stamped with Perfect Medium and then used Ranger Super fine detail Gold embossing powder to emboss. Cuttlebug Textile embossing folder on green. (did two views here to show stamp detail and the shine of the embossing powder!)
Stamped Inkadinkado butterfly images with Perfect Medium and then embossed with Stampendous Sterling Silver embossing powder. Used pop dots under the large lavender square for dimension. Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder on card.

Father's Day, Birthdays and Thank you's...
the Father's Day card I made for my husband. Do you know how hard it is to get a one year old to do a handprint?? This was actually the first try so I didn't push it! I used a baby safe ink and hand cut a heart and attached it with a pop-dot.
Made this card for my dad. I used a sepia ink pad for the background- Stampabilities "Paisley Background 02", Sandylion Essentials Owl stickers, and hand cut a branch from a paint sample chip.
birthday card for a Tinkerbell themed birthday party... embellished my cuttlebugged cardstock by sanding and added rhinestones/crystals and used Magenta stickles. The butterflies are stickers I found years ago...
Birthday card for my MIL- used the new Martha Stewart Double Loop Punch around the Page set, K&Company 3-D floral stickers and Hero Arts G211 Large Happy Birthday stamp
more K&Company 3-D floral stickers, MS Double Loops and Thank You stamp- not sure of the brand since I unmounted the rubber from the wood block...
5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card, Hero Arts K4890 CardArt Thank You Flourish stamp, used Black Diamond Stickles on dots and nipped the corners of the card with a Fiskars corner round punch
very simple birthday card! used the Joann's metal birthday sticker, Terrifically Tacky Tape with the microglass beads... I love those beads!
Thanks! used the cuttlebug A2 Combo set-With Gratitude for the Thanks, 1/4" Terrifically Tacky Tape and glass microbeads...

Invitation for our daughter's first birthday party
used A Child's Year cupcake cut at 3" and cuttlebug embossing folder "Divine Swirl" for icing. Lavender, dark purple, pearl pale yellow and metallic pink cardstock used.
"Cars" card
used stickers for the car and emblem and cut black cardstock for the road
Mod cupcake
used the Cricut cupcake from A Child's Year cartridge cut at 3" and threaded a piece of black and white paper through the slits in the cupcake, Lime green and metallic pink cardstock
used Core'dinations cardstock with cuttlebug Textile folder then sanded to the core color, used cuttlebug tag die cut for sentiment threaded with a ribbon.
World's most basic thank you card!
just a basic 'thank you' sentiment on white cardstock... can't get more simple than that!
I just want to thank you for being patient with me while we transition into our new home! I am working on some things that will allow me to be more creative and start posting more often... Thanks for sticking with me and hope to be seeing more of you soon!
