What a difference a few months can make!

So sorry for the radio silence over the last few months!!  It has been a whirlwind 5 months... We have sold a house, are buying a house tomorrow, changed jobs and changed states! Hubby found out he got a job in NC at the end of June so we had to move from TX pretty quickly. We are so excited to be exploring a new state and a smaller town.  So far we have gone hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, visited the Carolina Renaissance Festival (fantastic, will return!) and the North Carolina Zoo (stunning zoo!!!), and saw our first community play together as a family.  The kids have been loving it, though we do miss our family terribly!  So thankful for FaceTime and text messaging!

Why Jamberry? Plus UK Launch Info, Australia and New Zealand links

Let me tell you a little about me and why I love Jamberry...  I am a stay at home mom with 2 kids, 2 rambunctious dogs, a cranky cat and a VERY understanding hubby.  We live in Texas!  I rarely did my nails before discovering Jamberry-  I didn't have any time to go sit in a salon for 2 hours and spend money on a mani/pedi, and when I did paint them myself, they chipped right away!!  I had tried a couple of wraps you could get at the grocery store but noticed that they smelled funny and if I didn't use the whole package, they would dry out and not go on correctly for another application.
I met a spunky Jamberry consultant, Desiree, at a vendor event I was working at and decided to give these wraps a try.  2 manicures and 2 pedicures from one sheet that costs way less than one visit to the salon?? AND they are non-toxic, vegan friendly, formaldehyde free, gluten free, never animal tested, can be applied on acrylics or gel nails, and last up to 2 weeks on fingers and 6 weeks on toes?  Yes, please!

My first application was not perfect, not gonna lie!  But I knew I could improve and each time I tried it, the better I got at applying them and now can do a full mani in as little as 15 minutes and be ready to walk out the door!  There are lots of YouTube videos for tips and tricks to help different shaped nail beds (curvy nail beds? try the baseball method).  I decided to join Desiree and her awesome team just a few months after trying Jamberry for the first time- and I wish I hadn't waited so long!  These wraps are fun, stylish and make me feel like I'm put together even when I'm just hanging around the house with my kids.  My kids love them too- my daughter loves the juniors and the mommy-daughter time we get when applying her wraps.  My son always like to check out my nails (he even asks why they don't have something on them when I am between wraps!).  I wear my Jamberry all the time and these nails practically advertise themselves!  People are always asking me about my nails and I carry my samples in my purse. :)

Have you ever wanted to own your own business? Would you like to work from home?  Do you love having cute nails but don't have the time or money to go to the salon every couple weeks (only to have it chip within hours)?  Jamberry is perfect for you!  Please visit for more information or email me at and I will be happy to help you!

Denim hair clips

Super simple hair clips!  Just used the belt loops off some old jeans in the recycle pile.  For the bling I used hot fix rhinestones.

I got the supplies to do this hair clip last year around Fiesta time and just never got to it...the tiny straw hats were impossible to find for a while!  I was determined to get this one finished in time for Fiesta this April!  I've decided I need to learn how to make miniature crepe paper flowers for another style on the hat...  but in love how this one has come out!!

Introducing PV Assistant!

Here is a tip if you participate in the Essential Rewards program! PV Assistant is a new feature that helps you meet your desired amount of PV every month.  It is basically a wish list type feature that can be used to automatically fill your ER order to the desired PV amount.  That way you don't miss out on promos or commissions if something goes Out of Stock and you don't get it replaced before your order processes.  You put items in the list and if something goes OOS and your order processes, it will add items from the PV Assistant to fill it to the desired PV amount.  Log into your Virtual Office today and set yours up! :)

S' mores cookies!

I was playing around in the kitchen yesterday day and had a box of devils food cake mix (Betty Crocker super moist!) that I had accidentally poked a hole in the bag in my attempt to just get one more box top for my daughter's school, lol.  I had to come up with something to make with it but didn't want cake.
Here is my recipe!

S'mores Cookies

Preheat oven to 350°

1 box Devil's Food cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 c. applesauce (or veg oil)
1/3 c. Chocolate chips
1/2 c. Marshmallows
3 large (full rectangle) graham crackers, broken up

Mix first 3 ingredients into a batter.  Add dry ingredients and stir well.  Place teaspoonful of batter 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
You can add more or less of the dry ingredients to suit your tastes :) Just keep in mind that the marshmallows melt and ooze out :)  I used fresh parchment paper under each batch to make cleanup easy and sliding off the hot ones with the paper to cool before removing them from the sheet was way easier!
