lots of cat drama... a few cards...

** warning to cat owners: sewing thread can be hazardous to kitty digestive systems and your wallet!!**
Jett 3 days after surgery...

long story short- my cat, Jett, ate some sewing thread and ended up having to have 18 inches of intestines removed on Feb 13th. So now his belly (and neck and arm for bloodwork/IV) is all shaved and he has a good 3-4 inch scar on it... He is still having trouble recovering so all prayers are appreciated! He has lost at least 3 pounds in the past month!

Here are some cards for your patience!

St. Patty's day Birthday card- used Paper Doll Dress Up cart for Shamrock, Doodletype for Happy Birthday, argyle cuttlebug and sanding on green paper, new EK success edge punch on blue paper

Masculine birthday card- used Beyond Birthdays for sentiment, George for ovals, mesh cuttlebug folder with black magic paper sanded/torn edge for background, hand cut envelope

Pansy birthday card: used Storybook for scalloped ovals, swiss dots cuttlebug folder for purple oval, real dried pansies beneath vellum oval.

  1. How sad about you kitty!! I hope he is recovering well.

Great cards!! I really like the look of the cuttlebug an the mesh embossing folder with the black magic paper (I may need to try that).

  2. The Pansy birthday card is so pretty. Thanks for stopping by my site as you can see I don't have many followers. Thanks for looking and following my blog. I see so many wonderful blogs people had it inspired me to do the same with my projects.
