Apparently my car (new 2008 Toyota Highlander) is appealing to small and furry animals- namely the chipmunk variety... I started having birdseed fall out from under my glove box... upon further investigating (including witnessing "Chippy" scamper up under the vehicle) we ripped out the glove box and found quite the stash of birdseed and leaves in above the air filter for the air conditioner...
we vacuumed most of this out and then pulled out the air filter itself...
this is only about half of it I think, the rest went into the vac...
Oh my goodness! How crazy is that?!? I have a Highlander too (love it!), but have yet to have a furry critter make a home out of it. Love your blog and your work!
ReplyDeleteThat is about the funniest story I have heard! But only because it happened to you and not me! Who'd have thunk it? We have probs with squirrels here (suicidal ones that die in the swimming pool!) but not the car! Too funny!
